I practiced at leading law firms, then transitioned into AI in 2017, serving as CTO for AI ventures and building technology through every major breakthrough since.

One question kept pulling me back to law: AI was arriving in legal practice, and nobody could explain what was happening inside these systems. So I went deeper. I completed my DPhil in Computer Science at Oxford, submitting my thesis on explainable AI in the legal domain how Large Language Models reason, where they break, and how to align their outputs with human legal standards.

I've published at major conferences on AI risks and interpretability. I built this course because lawyers deserve more than surface-level tips, you need to understand the technology well enough to use it safely and evaluate it critically.
